Quad Rugby anyone? Murderball anyone? Quad Rugby is demolition wheelchairs at its best! The Utah Sorpions are a National Championship Quad Rugby team that smashes into each other with no holds barred insaneness! These guys and gals are quadriplegics that still have a very competitive nature, and stop at nothing but to score on each possession. This is a young team from Salt Lake City, Utah that has already captured the national championship in their first few years of existence. If you have never witnessed a quad ruby game please do yourself a favor and watch them smash into each other and work as a team to score. It's amazing to watch them as they have little or no use of their hands, push up and down the court passing and handling the ball with total concentration and will. Some of the impacts hurt by just hearing them! When asked why they do it I had one competitor said "heck I've already broken my neck, what have I got to lose!! " :-) Well these champs get my total respect as they are tough in every aspect of the game! So if you get a chance watch them on YouTube and you too will be amazed!!
