Alarm when flying during patdown

Alarms went off when getting my pat down when flying!!!

   Just recently I flew for a business trip and had to go through the typical pat down for my flight. They did the usual feel to see if any foreign objects that could be used to compromise a flight. But when swabbing my hands an alarm went off and they escorted me to another room to do a more extensive search. The inspectors were apologizing to me about holding me up and said they have to do the protocol when an alarm goes off. Now I don't know how you all feel about being detained like this but I told them I appreciate their thoroughness because if someone were to get on a flight and was a threat I would want them caught!!! Well the alarm was for a substance I had on my hands. Fertilizer they suspected. I usually push with my hands on my tires and was in Florida and probably picked up some on my hands pushing through the grass at the hotel garden. Well they did a more thorough search, and no it was not a body cavity search!! :-) well they finally cleared me but after I left I thanked them for insuring my safety and the safety of all the other flyers on my flight. I showed up at the airport two hours early and if I hadn't I would have missed my flight! So take that extra time when flying cause you never know when this might happen to you!!!
